And, 1, 2, 3, action...

White space on the screen can be intimidating. The first words are always the hardest, so I'll start in the middle of the story and work my way back. There is a story. Trust me. I've decided to blog about my experience of going through graduate school and what awaits for me on the other side.

What started as a fairly straight-forward goal of improving my career potential has morphed into something more personal. In short, I find that my self-perception is changing. The rigor of work and school, mixed with "where is all of this going, and whats next?" make for an interesting story. So, I will attempt to write it down. Free form, and in no particular order. I'll be talking about work (the boring and the juicy), classroom insights, goals and decisions, my friends, what I ate for lunch, the funny stuff, and what made me think.

The basics:
44 y/o single male, North side of Chicago (Andersonville), Marketing Analyst, raised in Texas, world traveller, master gardener, scooter rider, dog lover, coffee drinker, healthy eater, news junkie, liberal thinker, and garage sale shopper. Anything else is purely an accident.
